London’s bourbon-soaked gypsy blues, bob ‘n’ stroll band The Urban Voodoo Machine are back with their fourth album ‘Hellbound Hymns’ and a UK wide tour to match – we’ve got an exclusive stream of new track ‘Shattered Dreams’ today which you can check out below.
The new material tips a hat to honky tonk and ragtime; with a bar-room swagger this gravel-voiced lament wouldn’t sound out of place in a 1920s speakeasy, all wrapped up with a shot to the arm of modern punk grit. Muy bueno stuff indeed.
You can catch the band live and on tour throughout May and June at a startling array of festivals, booze-ups and live dates…surely the perfect band to drown your sorrows?
