Introducing: Sad Blood
London emo crew Sad Blood have announced that their second EP ‘Legion Of Gloom’ will be released digitally on May 6th.
One of the better examples of the current emo revival, drawing influence from Into It. Over It., Sunny Day Real Estate, Mineral and Algernon Cadwallader, you can check out a new track from the record below.
Although ‘Legion Of Gloom’ as a whole clocks in at under 15 minutes long, it certaintely doesn’t fall short of leaving you comfortably satisfied, with its laid back attitude drenched in a thick layer of puns and innuendo. This is a perfect bummed out record to sit in the sun and hang out to, and we should know, because we’ve been doing it.
Listen to ‘Heavy Petting Zoo’ – the first track on the EP – below. All kinds of lovely, it’s the audio representation of a nice hug, the feeling of someone cheering you up after a bad time. We can all dig that, right?
