New York singer-songwriter and rock musician Jesse Malin has announced a short run of 2016 UK headline tour dates beginning at Arts Club in Liverpool on 11th July and ending at London Borderline on 15th July with support from Don DiLego and The Touristas + Diane and The Gentle Men.
The tour, his last in the UK for 2016, is in support of forthcoming new single ‘Whitestone City Limits’, the latest track to be taken from his 2015 album ‘Outsiders’ which is out now on One Little Indian / Velvet Elk Records.
Doffing his cap to ‘Nutbush City Limits’ Jesse says “I wrote this song fooling around at a sound check in Memphis after hearing the Ike and Tina classic covered by AC/DC. I’ve always loved those songs about leaving home…I also felt I needed a little Chuck Berry in there – without the cameras in the toilets!”
Meanwhile Jesse’s 2nd album, ‘The Heat’ is re-issued by One Little Indian as a repackaged 2x cd and 2x Vinyl with a second disc of bonus material on the 29th July.
JULY 2016 UK LIVE DATES:
11th LIVERPOOL Arts Club
12th GLASGOW Oran Mor
13th NEWCASTLE Cluny 2
14th NORWICH Waterfront
15th LONDON Borderline
