Sheffield post-rock band Gilmore Trail have released a stunning cover of the ‘Twin Peaks’ theme tune.
Born out of love for the works of Angelo Badalamenti and David Lynch, their version of two of the titular show’s classic themes (“Falling” and “Laura Palmer’s Theme”) celebrates the commencement of the 25th year to the day since Laura Palmer uttered the words “I’ll see you again in 25 years…”.
Directed and shot by Jake Barrett of Sevenhillsfilms and Callum Shepherd of Fourth City Films, you can also grab a free download of the track here: https://gilmoretrail.bandcamp.com/album/twin-peaks
