Formerly known as Rangleklods (yeah, name change was a good choice guys) Blondage are duo Pernille Smith-Sivertsen and Esben Andersen.
They’ve just released their second single ‘Lucky Black Skirt’ which will be part of their debut EP Blondage out September 16th via Copenhagen-based label Tambourhinoceros.
Collaborating with director and artist Jonas Bang, who co-directed the video for debut single “Dive”, the video is bathed in blue and purple tones and tells the story of power structures between a man and a woman.
Jonas Bang explains:
“We wanted to place the two characters across from each other and let the changing balance of power between them be the center of the development and and action of the video. Esben’s character starts in control, but eventually it’s Pernille who’s on top. Visually it explores a more rough and darker side to Blondage’s aesthetics.”
Blondage are playing at select festivals around Europe this summer leading up to the EP release in September.
