Track of the Day: LUMER – Blunder

Following in the footsteps of LIFE and Vulgarians, LUMER look set to come barreling out of East Yorkshire with their new single ‘Blunder’.

Packed full of raging, buzzsaw guitars and a psychedelic edge that recalls the likes of Eagulls and Hookworms, ‘Blunder’ is a promising first glimpse that’s angled towards the disenfranchised, and the angry, youth. This stuff is proper aural therapy, and it’s ace.

Of the track and its inspirations, bassist Alex Evans comments: “Blunder is the stupid mistake you make with someone you pretend to care a lot about. It’s the moment after the storm the feeling of regret and the questioning of your sanity and your essence.”
