As a brand, DM’s have been adopted by the music scene in the UK and beyond for over 55 years. The iconic footwear brand have for the last four years been responsible for bringing some of the finest UK talent to authentic venues around the country as part of the Stand For Something Tour.
With headliners Formation, Paigey Cakey and VANT already confirmed for the most varied year of the tour yet, DM’s are proud to announce a special show from You Me At Six at London’s legendary Dingwalls venue in Camden.
Having graduated from pop punk hopefuls to bonafide arena and festival conquering headliners, You Me At Six are undoubtedly one of the UK’s biggest rock exports. With new album ‘Night People’ sure to send them stratospheric, the Stand For Something Tour 2016 offers a very rare opportunity to get up close and personal with the band in a small venue.
What do you stand for, Josh Franceschi?
“I’d like to be remembered for being part of something that celebrated individuality, while encouraging people to accept and understand people for the way they are and who they are. I stand for celebrating the inner and outer beauty of all individuals.”
With the lightweight construction of the new #DMsLITE range providing the next revolution in the life of the iconic brand, the Stand For Something Tour 2016 reflects the increasingly wide appeal of the enduring footwear brand and the diversity of consumers that wear DM’s today.
Last year’s sold out Stand For Something Tour featured Twin Atlantic, Bury Tomorrow, Lonely The Brave, Dutch Uncles, Palma Violets and The Wytches.
2016 tour dates and venues are:
29th October – Birmingham: Mama Roux’s – Paigey Cakey
