John Legend Releases New Single

Acclaimed, multi-platinum selling, Oscar, Golden Globe and 10x Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter John Legend has released his highly-anticipated new single, “Love Me Now,” available today via all digital platforms. The song is from Legend’s upcoming album Darkness & Light. Written and produced by John Legend with Blake Mills (Alabama Shakes) and John Ryan (One Direction), the anthemic track brilliantly showcases Legend’s sensual and undeniably recognizable voice, with a driving beat that serves as the perfect follow up to his global smash “All of Me,” which sold over one million copies in the UK alone.

Speaking on the song, Legend says: “’Love Me Now’ is all about living and loving to the fullest, no matter what tomorrow may bring. I’m so excited to finally share music from my new album! I’ve put a lot of love and energy into making this album special. I hope my fans can feel it.”

Legend took to Facebook Live yesterday where he played the song for the first time and shared the inspiration behind it, which centres around seizing the moment in life, and loving each other in the present tense.
