Soulful Songstress Jo Harman On Tour

Widely recognised as one of the finest vocalists and writers in the UK, jazz blues singer songwriter Jo Harman has just announced a brand new European tour. The Soul fuelled singer also has a much anticipated second album out now.

For tickets see below.

Friday 1st December – St Pancras Old Church, London

Fresh from being BBC Radio 2 play-listed, (and RTE1 Ireland and throughout Europe for that matter) international touring and recording artist JO HARMAN hit with ‘When We Were Young’ the first single, featuring soul legend Michael McDonald’s, from Jo’s new studio album recorded in Nashville, ‘People We Become’. Although she is used to playing on some of the biggest stages around the world (including being one of only 11 artists playing to 300k people at Parkpop in the hague), Jo also enjoys playing the most intimate of venues with her powerful and evocative ‘piano and voice’ duo show which some critics believe showcase her at her compelling best? Her sincere, heartfelt compositions, widely regarded as being carved in marble, certainly take the audience on an emotional journey and her relaxed banter between songs give an exceptionally intimate insight into the world of this exceptional vocalist, songwriter and artist.

The album has been described by esteemed critics as ‘an instant classic’ as witnessed by the following selection of quotes…
Daily Express ‘Harman says “I’m not trying to fit in anywhere, I’m just trying to write classic songs”. On this evidence..she seems to know what she’s doing’,
The Mirror ‘Jo mines pop, soul and gritty blues with conviction’,
Leading US roots authority, No Depression, reports ‘’An artist at the very top of her game, going deep emotionally, lyrically and musically. The album as a whole has all the hallmarks of a classic. Other reviewers have made comparisons of Jo Harman with Carole King and Joni Mitchell. That’s not hyperbole – there is something very special here.’
Classic Rock (9 star review) – “He voice is a thing of beauty”
Country Music Magazine “The next big thing. The songs are the main event…lip-bitingly beautiful”
