VISIONS 2017 ANNOUNCE MORE MUSIC ACTS

On Saturday 5th August 2017, VISIONS festival returns for its fifth edition. Today, VISIONS is excited to announce the final names for the music line-up. Already announced to perform at the East London one-dayer include the likes of Liars, Jenny Hval, Blanck Mass, Sophie, Zebra Katz, Noga Erez, Shame, Frankie Cosmos, Benny Mails and many more

Today’s announcement includes PC-Music trio and former London In Stereo cover stars Kero Kero Bonito. Also joining the line-up is London-via-Glasgow duo Sacred Paws and Nashville-native Soccer Mommy following the release of her mini album ‘Collection’. The festival is also thrilled to announce dream-pop duo Her’s, Dazed approved and London-based band Sorry and hotly-tipped rapper Denzel Himself.

In addition, the festival excited to share details of the Dog Show, in association with All Dogs Matter and The Line of Best Fit. The show will be judged by a capable panel of Visions musicians and dog professionals, to be announced in the coming weeks. The dog show will be open to all members of the public and canines to enter and spectate. Dog show admission is now open and categories announced feat. a Twin Peaks themed fancy dress round. The full categories are as follows: best dog, cutest pup, best trick, waggiest tail, cutest rescue and best costume (Twin Peaks, following last year’s Bowie, Prince & Lemmy round).

You will be required to register with us on email because the slots fill quickly. Add category/categories and name of the dog that you want to enter in the subject line with a message to dogshow@visionsfestival.com. Please be ready to donate £5 per dog per category that you want yours to enter in on the day but we need to register your dog/s in advance. All proceeds go to All Dogs Matter – http://alldogsmatter.co.uk.

Following the announcement of VISIONS special collaboration with the exciting new cinema and events space The Institute of Light, the festival will also feature a special schedule of specially selected surf and skate films, new and classic. The space will also host a full DJ line-up in the venue and a Motorbike-mounted BBQ out back.

Finally, VISIONS are running special screen printing sessions in Visions Market with Positive Press. You can enter an Instagram competition to get your personal design selected as one of the t-shirt prints using #VisionsScreenPrint and sharing your original design. The winners will see their designs printed on t-shirts on the day and available for sale at £5. Competition entries close on July 5th and VISIONS will pick two winners.

Focusing on accessibility and highly alternative entertainment, the festival remains an affordably priced ticket at just £27.50, with a wealth of different acts to see and things to do in some of city’s best new venues and spaces – smack bang in the middle of a hazy London in the mid-summer.
