The third 2000trees Festival 2018 announcement is here, and as ever it selects some of the finest new bands, welcomes back some of the events very favourites and says howdy to some incredible festival newbies, both up and coming and established. This line up announcement was also announced by our incredible Saturday headliners ENTER SHIKARI in this video – HERE
For the 3rd year in a row, BLACK PEAKS will be demolishing the site with their skyscraper sized mosh, event and fan faves The XCERTS also return but THIS time with a superb, much lauded top 40 album ‘Hold Onto Your Heart’ under their belt. The majestic SLØTFACE will finally be playing (after their unavoidable last-minute absence in 2017) and one of THE most exciting live bands on the planet Ho99o9 (who destroyed ArcTanGent Festival in 2017) make their debut appearance – along with Australian 4 piece HELLIONS and Welsh rising stars (and UNFD label buddies) DREAM STATE (though the 5 piece did attend the festival last year as punters).
ALL of the bands announced today for 2000trees Festival, are:
Ho99o9 / THE XCERTS / BLACK PEAKS / SLØTFACE / HELLIONS / DREAM STATE / PRESS TO MECO / FANGCLUB / GALLOPS / NERVUS / BLACK FUTURES / GENDER ROLES / BITCH FALCON / LADY BIRD
SUN ARCANA / HAGGARD CAT and SEAN MCGOWAN
From BLACK PEAKS – “2000trees Festival has always been a very special festival to our band – it’s a proper music festival for proper music fans, the atmosphere is unlike anywhere else, and once again the lineup is amazing. We’ve played with and met some awesome people at this festival. We can’t wait to be back, and to bring some new tunes with us!”
From The XCERTS – “We are wildly psyched to be returning to
2000trees Festival this year. We hold the festival very dear to our hearts and this will be our 2nd time gracing the main stage. You better believe it’s going to be holy!”
From DREAM STATE: “Since starting this band, one thing we’ve always wanted to do was play 2000trees Festival! We go every year as fans of both the festival itself and the bands they book, so it was a pretty incredible moment for us to hear that we had been asked to play! To say that we cannot wait to perform is an understatement!”
ALREADY ANNOUNCED:
ENTER SHIKARI (Sat headliners) / AT THE DRIVE IN (Thurs headliners) / BLACK FOXXES / CREEPER / BASEMENT / ARCANE ROOTS / HELL IS FOR HEROES / BLACK FOXXES / / TOUCHE AMORE
BOSTON MANOR / TURBOWOLF / LOATHE
CONJURER / SHVPES / GOLD KEY / HOLDING ABSENCE / CHAPTER & VERSE and HOLIDAY OSCAR
From festival organiser James Scarlett – “We’ve gone big this year with our headliners, but the thing I’m the most proud of is the less well known, up-and-coming bands on the line up. 2000trees Festival is the place to discover your new favourite band so everyone needs to go and check out our Spotify playlist now. My personal recommendations are Chapter and Verse, Fangclub, Gender Roles and Conjurer, but I can promise you that all the bands are amazing!”
