Feminist Post Hardcore four-piece Petrol Girls have signed to UK-based independent label Hassle Records and are working on new music, some of which will be revealed very soon. The band also head off on tour in April, as well as having just been added to the line-up for Reading & Leeds Festivals. See below for dates.
Zock from the band says “We hit the studio with Pete Miles last year to start recording new music, which will become our first release on Hassle Records. We’ve finally woken up from hibernation and can’t wait to hit the UK in April, followed by festival appearances throughout the summer.”
Wez from Hassle comments on the move to work with the force of nature that is Petrol Girls: “We’ve been following what they do for a while now with great interest. A band full of energy and excitement. And with something to say. As soon as we saw them live we knew we had to try and work with them. We’re more than excited to be doing so “.
Petrol Girls released their explosive debut album ‘Talk of Violence’ in 2016 and have toured extensively throughout the UK and Europe since, empowering and enthusing crowds in every corner their music touches.
