Good Energy announces partnership with Eden Sessions

Good Energy, the 100 percent renewable electricity and greener gas supplier, is the official energy partner of Eden Sessions, the series of summer gigs taking place at the Eden Project’s headquarters in Cornwall for the seventeenth year in 2018.

The new three-year deal will create an opportunity for Good Energy to drive awareness and educate visitors about renewable energy throughout the concert series in June and July.

The sponsorship is an extension of Good Energy’s existing relationship with the Eden Project, the company having powered Eden with renewable electricity since late 2014. It also follows the announcement of Good Energy’s first battery storage project at Eden Project, an installation which is due to take place later in 2018.

Juliet Davenport, CEO and Founder of Good Energy, said: “Having worked with Eden for three years, extending our partnership now to be involved with their fabulous Eden Sessions gigs is really exciting.

“We’re sure that with our shared values, we can reach and engage with lots of new people to get them interested in renewables and take action against climate change.”

Rita Broe, Marketing Director of the Eden Project, said: “This is a great partnership for Eden, and for the Sessions.

“We are keen to promote the benefits of green energy in reducing carbon emissions and look forward to working with Good Energy to do that in a fun and engaging way. This year looks set to be one of the best Sessions seasons ever and we are delighted Good Energy will be part of it.”

The 2018 Eden Sessions will see Gary Barlow (June 6 – SOLD OUT), Massive Attack and Young Fathers (June 15 and 16 – SOLD OUT), A Beautiful Day Out at Eden featuring the Levellers, New Model Army and Reef (June 23 – TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE), Ben Howard (June 30 – tickets on general sale at 5pm on April 13), Queens of the Stone Age (July 3 – SOLD OUT) Jack Johnson (July 5 –SOLD OUT) and Björk (July 7 – SOLD OUT) each play shows against the backdrop of Eden’s world-famous Biomes. More acts will be announced soon.
