POLISH CLUB RELEASE NEW SINGLE ‘BEAT UP’
Ah, that sweet, fresh feeling of the wind in your hair — while your head’s being slammed in the door of a car doing 90 on the highway out of town. It’s a feeling that can only mean one thing: Polish Club are here.
Beat Up is a new blast of raw, crashing soul from the Sydney duo of Novak (guitar/vocal) and JH (drums). Beat Up, which originally premiered on the Radio 1 Rock Show is the title track of Alright Already, the imminent debut album by Polish Club, due to drop in the Summer.
Early tours opening for the likes of Courtney Barnett and Gang of Youths were loaded with a dangerous sense of portent. “A gritty garage rock two-piece unafraid to throw themselves into the action,” the AU Review observed. Watch out for UK dates to be announced soon.
