LYDIA release new single ‘Sunlight’
With six albums and multiple tours under their belt, the desert dwellers of Lydia are making a big jump with ‘Liquor’, coming July 13 via Sony imprint Weekday Records. Today, the band releases the album’s first visual via new single ‘Sunlight’. Building off of the previously released ‘Goodside,’ ‘Sunlight’ promises fans and new listeners expansive, experimental versions of their catchy alt pop.
The music video for ‘Sunlight’ places lead singer Leighton Antelman in the centre of a warm and quirky world. Antelman narrates a heartwarming romance as it unfolds in front of it like a surrealist painting. Comforting and strange at the same time, the video recalls the highs of precious rom-coms like a lovechild of 500 Days of Summer and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
