Warner Music Canada recording artists Courage My Love have released a stripped-down live version of song ‘Remission’, ahead of the start of their return to the UK to support As It Is, starting this week. The original track has over 234,000 Spotify streams on Spotify alone.
Fans can stream ‘Remission (Stripped Down Live Session)’ HERE.
Speaking on the stripped back track, singer Mercedes says, “it was really fun to flex a different muscle with this stripped down version of Remission. We’ve never done a real live session before, though it’s always been something we’ve wanted to do. Live sessions have a different energy than studio recordings. We believe a good song is a good song, no matter what format you hear it in. This was a fun way to perform remission and show our fans that we are multidimensional artists. It also brings a new emotion to the song, which almost feels like hearing it again for the first time.”
Fronted by twin sisters Mercedes and Phoenix Arn-Horn with bassist Brandon Lockwood, Courage My Love will be returning to the UK to support As It Is on the following dates:
