HAMPTON COURT PALACE FESTIVAL ANNOUNCE OPENING ACT: BASTILLE RE-ORCHESTRATED

Historic Royal Palaces and IMG today announce that for the first time, Brit Award nominees Bastille will take to the stage at Hampton Court Palace Festival 2020. The band will appear at the festival for one show only on Thursday 4 June, opening night of this year’s festival which runs throughout the month of June. Tickets are on sale Friday, 24 January at 9am at www.hamptoncourtpalacefestival.com.

Following their 2018 ReOrchestrated tour, the evening will see the band reprise a selection of songs from their last three albums; re-imagining, deconstructing and rearranging the songs with a 20-piece orchestra and choir.

Now in its 28th year, Hampton Court Palace Festival is a series of truly special and unique open-air concerts. Artists perform in an intimate 3,000-seat auditorium in Base Court, set against the backdrop of Henry VIII’s magnificent Tudor Palace. Attendees will arrive at the sumptuous Palace Gardens and can enjoy a spot of picnicking in the spectacular surroundings.
