Fleur East this evening releases her song ‘Not Alone’, in aid of The NHS Covid-19 Appeal.
The track was initially written by Fleur as a rap for an exclusive performance on BBC ONE’s ‘The One Show’ encouraging viewers to stay at home amidst the Corona crisis.
‘Not Alone’ gained huge traction online post the show so Fleur has decided to write an additional verse and chorus, record the song and release it to raise funds for The Covid-19 Appeal, which helps to aid NHS workers and staff impacted by the virus.
‘The One Show’ premiered the new version of the song this evening, and the track is now available across all download and streaming platforms.
100 percent of all proceeds will go to helping our amazing NHS.
Fleur says: “All the money that is raised from the streams and downloads will go directly to the NHS Covid-19 Appeal, so that goes directly to support all the NHS workers and volunteers who are working on the frontline. It’s probably the easiest shoot I’ve ever done in my life, just at home in my socks.”
The song was written by Fleur and produced by Edward Sokolowski, Lloyd Hinshelwood and Ryan Griffiths.
NHS charities are working with member charities and national fundraising platforms to host an appeal that aims to help take care of the well-being of our NHS people while they are working tirelessly to care for COVID-19 patients. Donations can go towards funding well-being packs and gifts for NHS staff and volunteers, support isolated patients through providing devices to communicate with friends and family whilst in hospital or isolating; provide longer term mental health support for NHS staff, volunteers, patients and their families and help patients leave hospital quickly and safely and remain or stay out of hospital.
