To help raise those festive spirits and hopefully some funds for charity, Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival will launch a Christmas two track single this Wednesday 9th December.
The first track is a Belladrum inspired re-working of The 12 Day’s of Christmas written by Scotland’s first Scots Scriever and great friend of the festival Hamish Macdonald, while the 2nd track Silent Night was recorded by pupils from Bella’s local primary School Tomnacross.
‘Bella’s 12 Days of Christmas’ all-star band features a host of festival favourites including; multi-award winning Gaelic singer Julie Fowlis; former Scottish shinty captain, musician and member of Manran, Gary Innis; local favourites Torridon; and a whole host of incredible acts including, Colonel Mustard & the Dijon 5, Fun Box, Rhythmnreel, James Mackenzie, and The Dangleberries.
Everyone involved recorded their parts at home, with the audio and accompanying videos being edited by Keith Morrison from Wee Studio on the Isle of Lewis.
The cover artwork was designed by Tomnacross primary school pupil Evie Mackinnon who won the school wide design competition.
You can pre-order your physical CD from Wednesday 9th December from our online shop (links on our website and social media pages).
