Premiere – Mr Mikey shares his ‘P.A.I.N.’

Mr Mikey shares the absurdist-tinged video for his track ‘P.A.I.N’ exclusively with Glasswerk ahead of his full album release.

‘Simply The Best’, out on September 17, is the first Mr Mikey album but Mikey Georgeson has an impressive pedigree as the lead singer/guitarist with David Devant & His Spirit Wife. The Brighton-based band first made an impression with their theatrical live show during the Britpop years but unlike many of their contemporaries have survived and continue to this day, supported by a fiercely loyal fanbase.

Mr Mikey’s take is perhaps a little more reflective and introspective, with sonic echoes of Bowie, Cohen and The Beatles but a philosophical lyrical bent that is all of its own. ‘P.A.I.N.’ follows hot on the heels of previous single ‘Russian Dolls’.
