ANNA B SAVAGE shares new video of “Chelsea Hotel 3”

With a full UK tour this month, Anna B Savage is sharing a new video of Hotel, recorded in collaboration with the Institute Collective, a contemporary vocal ensemble founded by composer, producer and vocal arranger Hughie Gavin. The group are a collection of artists in there own right who come together to collaborate and perform with other artists.

Speaking about working together, Hughie Gavin of the Institute Collective said “Anna sent over a few songs that she thought would lend themselves to choral arrangements and straight away I knew I wanted to work on ‘Hotel’. I think it was because the song is such a journey. It’s almost like three songs in one. I approached the arrangement by following and accentuating the dynamic contours of the song, aiming to create some beautiful and dramatic moments whilst making sure there was lots of space for Anna’s incredible voice.”

Adding to this, Savage said “I jumped at the chance to work with Institute Collective. With two professional choral parents and a life long love of choirs I knew this would be an incredibly special thing. I’m so thankful to Hughie for the huge amount of work he put in to this. I had to desperately hold the tears in. I hope you’ll agree, this is magic.”

Anna B Savage recently released her EP ‘These Dreams‘, which followed on from the release of her debut album A Common Turn‘ earlier this year via City Slang. Before this, Savage released her 2015 debut EP, which was praised by press internationally including NPR and The Guardian, and quickly caught the attention of Father John Misty and later Jenny Hval, both of whom took Savage under their wing and took her on tour.
