DEATH BLOOMS announce UK headline tour

Death Blooms have announced an extensive UK headline tour in Feb / March 2022. Tickets are on sale Monday at 10am. The Liverpool band have spent the latter part of 2021 making up for lost time on the road with the likes of Trash Boat, Wargasm and Blood Youth. They were also the opening act for the monumental Download Pilot event earlier this year, whipping up a frenzied moshpit of emotion. They’ll be playing Download Festival 2022 too.

‘Life Is Pain’ is Death Blooms’ debut album, recently released via Adventure Cat Records. Its visceral and cathartic aesthetic has been garnering attention far and wide, even edging toward the mainstream. Jordan North on BBC Radio 1 said “I feel like I’ve had a shot of sambuca and a slap round the face” when playing recent single ‘In Your Head’ out on Jack Saunders’ Future Artists show (the clip subsequently got replayed on the Breakfast Show).

Death Blooms also made headlines on tour earlier this year when one of their fans was refused an Airbnb booking for post-gig lodging based upon their music tastes. The host said they were “not comfortable with the nature of this music” and while they “have no issue with anybody’s taste in music,” they found Death Blooms’ tracks to be “aggressive, expletive-riddled and disturbing.” The band went on to design a t-shirt with the host’s appraisal of their music emblazoned on it and paid for the fan’s accommodation.
