US punk rock trio Skating Polly kick off their European and UK tour in France today, starting a month-long run throughout France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany and ending in the UK. The live dates come as the band prepare a new album, which is expected to arrive towards the end of 2022.
The tour will be the band’s first visit to Europe since their late 2019 tour, which was preceded by singles “Play House“, the video for which featured a cameo from The Jesus Lizard’s David Yow, and boisterous counter-part single “Flyer“. The threesome released their fifth studio record ‘The Make It All Show‘ in May 2018 on El Camino Media. Recorded at Seagrass Studio in Los Angeles with producer Brad Wood (Smashing Pumpkins, Liz Phair) who also helmed their ‘New Trick EP‘ (feat. Louise Post and Nina Gordon of Veruca Salt).
Catch the band’s famously frenetic live shows at the dates below, and watch this space for new music in the near future!
