At Home Farm announces its Summer 2022 Programme

A summer of intimate events and residencies just a short journey from central London, At Home Farm transports you to an enchanting wonderland where guests dine under trees amid the long grass or wander through the fairy lit woods to a woodland stage hidden in a hollow beneath a cathedral of trees, where an eminent collection of renowned musicians will perform.

A bucolic journey of the senses, the series of individually ticketed events runs all summer, boasting dates with homegrown and international music talent, along with some of the UK’s finest chefs, and innovative theatre troupes.

This summer, At Home Farm are thrilled to welcome indie-folk sisters The Staves, Americana-inspired singer-songwriter Jade Bird,  the hypnotic Australian artist RY X (fresh from selling out the Royal Albert Hall) and experimental singer Rae Morris to play their woodland stage – with other inspiring artists still to be announced. This impeccably curated music programme is presented by Live Promoter Communion Presents.

The Staves, comment “It’s always so great to have the opportunity to play a show in an intimate setting like Home Farm, where you get to pare things down and play your songs like how they were written. We look forward to seeing you there!”

Gastronomically adventurous, this year, Woodfired Canteen return for a long table residency which includes collaborations with Moro founders Sam and Sam Clark, Co-author of FLAVOUR with Yotam Ottolenghi, the talented food writer Ixta Belfrage, sustainable cooking champions Native, and Stevie Parle – who brings the Anglo-Italian fare of his restaurant Joy to the meadow. Celebrated Live Fire chef and restaurateur Ben Quinn and his Woodfired Canteen team, famed for their long table dining experiences make the journey from Cornwall for the week to deliver these special events, which are set in idyllic countryside against the backdrop of historic woodland and expansive pastures.

Ben Quinn, Chef & Founder Woodfired Canteen comments:
“I can’t wait to return to Home Farm and lay our long table in the meadow. We have special memories of last year and the whole team are looking forward to being back there and collaborating with another awesome line up of guest chefs”

Imogen Davis, co-owner at Native comments:
“At Home Farm is the most gorgeous location – we feel so at home in the countryside so we can’t wait to bring Native to the farm and introduce the guests to our menu”

Theatre events include a residency from circus traditionalists Giffords Circus and their magical travelling big top. They bring their vintage carnival of fun and silliness with a glamorous twist with the brand-new show ¡Carpa! to Home Farm in June, while Cornish open-air theatre specialists Rogue Otherworld bring their immersive woodland production for a residency in July.

The events are intimate, elemental and discerning, nestled within the historic woodland and meadows of Home Farm – a precious piece of private Green Belt. Lovingly curated by its female founders, this special event series draws on decades of experience programming some of the finest UK festivals. At Home Farm launched in summer 2021, is a golden breath of fresh air after the long winter of the pandemic.

With At Home Farm’s close proximity to London, tickets give access to attend just for the evening. Only 13 miles from Central London in the Hertfordshire countryside, tube and rail links are within easy reach, car parking is available and it’s serviced by Uber, facilitating a quick and effortless journey home at the end of the night.

However, guests can choose to make a night of it by booking into one of the twelve Yurts or Bell Tents provided for by Home Farm Glamping (separate booking link).  A two course meal prepared by a Michelin trained chef (and Home Farm resident) Jean-Luc Sainlo is included in the ticket price of all live music evenings.
