Celebrating the release of the debut album ‘Mellow Moon’, Alfie Templeman joins the cinch presents Latitude bill. Since the release of his debut single “Like An Animal” in 2018, Alfie Templeman has pushed boundaries like no other teenager. He combines indie-boy-next-door aesthetics with peerless musicianship.With well over 135,000,000 streams worldwide, Templeman’s global appeal is reaching fever pitch. He has just completed his first ever headline tour which included his biggest UK show to date at the capital’s Shepherds Bush Empire and was attended by new fan and Latitude headliner Lewis Capaldi.
Atlanta psychedelic soul artist Curtis Harding also joins the festival in support of his stunning new album ‘If Words Were Flowers’, the follow up to ‘Face Your Fear’ . Harding has performed with everyone from Jack White to Lenny Kravitz, played festival slots at Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits and racked up over 60 million streams on Spotify alone. New York Magazine raved that “with a scorching voice like his, the funk is eternal.”
London octet caroline also make their Latitude debut and will perform a special improvised performance in the Theatre Arena. Latitude attendees can expect in shards of a new sound touching on post-rock, emo, folk and minimalist classical from their hypnotising and expansive self titled debut album
Across the music stages over 30 new music names have been added to the bill. These include the three Alcove headliners, explosive Vancouver punk-dance collective Crack Cloud, unruly folk music collective Broadside Hacks and Nova Twins who the Guardian recently dubbed “the loudest, most exciting new rock band in the UK.

Today’s arts line-up additions show attendees can expect the biggest names on the comedy circuit, cultural visionaries, poets, podcasters, and performance artists in an arts bill without boundaries.
Joining the comedy bill is award-winning stand-up comedian, writer and actor and one of the most in-demand performers Aisling Bea. She has appeared on Live at the Apollo, QI, The Last Leg and was a team captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats. Aisling also stars in hit Netflix show Living with Yourself alongside Paul Rudd and created and stars in Channel 4 smash-hit comedy-drama This Way Up. cinch presents Latitude favourite, BAFTA-nominated comedian, musician, actor and improvisor Rachel Parris who is best known for her viral segments on The Mash Report and Late Night Mash also makes a welcome return to the festival alongside star of Live at the Apollo, and Have I Got News for You, Marcus Brigstocke best known for his acclaimed, satirical BBC Radio 4 programme The Now Show. Marcus is joined by acclaimed comedian, writer, and current Taskmaster contestant, Sophie Duker whose Edinburgh Fringe Show, Venus, saw her nominated for the Best Newcomer award
cinch presents Latitude’s comedy line up is second to none and this year’s bill is more outrageous than ever. Expect laugh-out-loud funny comedy from a diversely talented and wildly outspoken bunch of comedians. Highlights include Emma Sidi star of Starstruck (BBC 3 & HBO Max) , Alan Partridge and hit solo Edinburgh Fringe show show Emma Sidi: Telenovela, , English Comedian Of The Year Winner Brennan Reece who recently appeared on Live At The Apollo and award-winning comedian, west end and TV actor, musician, writer, and artist Katie Pritchard.
In-demand transgender stand-up and comedy powerhouse Jordan Gray makes an explosive cinch presents Latitude debut fresh from her Comedy Central web-series show and takes time of from her up and coming sitcom with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost to perform at the festival. Jordan is joined by Ola Labib, who is known for her infectious charm, edgy comedy material and wry humour.
Britain’s Got Talent finalist Robert White, self-described as “the only Asperger, gay, dyslexic, cross-lateral, quarter-Welsh, webbed-toed…musical comedian there is,” also brings his belly-aching comedy to Latitude and Zach Zucker will perform as egomaniac, alter-ego Jack Tucker from his hit Edinburgh Fringe show,.
Back in 2019, cinch presents Latitude introduced The Listening Post; a whole new stage dedicated to the diverse and creative art form that is podcasts. The stage became a standout success and returns in 2022 to not only present some of the hottest podcasters around, but also interesting and thought provoking conversations and ideas, along with literary and poetry work. Here, saxophonist and broadcaster Jess Gillam ( who is performing with her ensemble of the Waterfront stage) will record her award-winning Radio 3 programme This Classical Life live, joined by other top musicians to discuss and suggest their favourite tracks from across the musical spectrum. Across the weekend, accidental relationship guru Rosie Wilby brings her acclaimed comedy podcast come chat show The Breakup Monologues to the festival, Diggory Waite and his mother, accredited sex therapist Cate Campbell record a live version of hit podcast The Real Sex Education, and physicist, writer and broadcaster Dr Helen Czerski & Professor Kevin Fong will return with The Cosmic Shambles Network.
cinch presents Latitude will host a rabble-rousing range of established wordsmiths and emergent talents who all recognise the power of language to change the world. At the festival, award-winning human rights and civil liberties barrister Leslie Thomas QC talks about his powerful book Do Right and Fear No One, a blistering argument for a level playing field in the pursuit of justice for the marginalised and voiceless and Laura Bates discusses Fix the System, Not the Women, a blazing examination of sexual injustice and a rallying cry for reform. During the festival, award-winning poet and playwright Claire Pollard reads from her exquisite debut novel Delphi about a woman fixated on ideas of prophecy whilst also living through lockdown and Natalie Lee (@stylemesunday) will host an emotional and inspiring conversation with about her journey from sexual shame to sexual freedom from as documented in her powerful memoir Feeling Myself: How I Shed My Shame to Find Sexual Freedom and You Can Too.
Festival favourite Mark Kermode will once again return, to present a conversation alongside leading figures from the most interesting corners of the film, TV and theatre world. The University of East Anglia (UEA) will also present a powerful exhibition and performance of the history of protest songs as part of the ‘Our Subversive Voice‘ research project.
Marking their 20th anniversary, flipped eye publishing makes their cinch presents Latitude debut with a programme of readings and performance. Always on the outlook for voices from the margins, flipped eye literally “flips” the traditional mainstream editorial eye by giving prominence to writers from society’s fringes. flipped eye at Latitude will feature the widest possible range of voices and include authors and alumni Sarala Estruch, Samatar Elmi, Francesca Beard, Eleanor Penny and Ashleigh Nugent. Joining our poetry programme, Leena Norms launches Bargain Bin Rom-Com, her debut collection of poems along with viral poet Tom Roberts, aka Tomfoolery, , who will be performing work from his latest show, Jack the Lad .Ben Moor and Joanna Neary bring BOOKTALKBOOKTALKBOOK, their absurdist parody of an awkward live author event, with jokes promised.
National dance powerhouse and East of England locals, Dance East, will return to the Waterfront to present a programme of innovative contemporary work across the dance spectrum. Also joining the dance bill will be The Place, London’s creative powerhouse for dance development, who will be presenting a programme of boundary pushing dance across the weekend on the beloved Waterfront. Disco Yoga will be making a return to warm you up for your festival day ahead – sequins welcomed!
