VISIONS festival returns Saturday 23rd July. The Hackney one-dayer has become a key alternative moment in the festival calendar and has grown each year adding new venues and outdoor spots, whilst maintaining a carefully curated approach, and has been regularly critically revered for its cutting edge line-up, offering something different to a lot of the other summer events.

Today, VISIONS announces the final music acts for its ninth edition which already features Black County, New Road, Mdou Moctar, For Those I Love, Giant Swan, Miso Extra and more. Completing the line-up are once again a host of some of the most exciting new acts and unique talent playing festivals this summer. Final additions include breakthrough US rapper (and former member of Ratking) WIKI, the collaborative project from James Holden & Warclaw Zimpel, future-pop act Jessica Winter, South London’s experimental hip-hop collective Nukuluk, Bristol post-punk outfit Home Counties, and Irish singer-songwriter Ailbhe Reddy. From overseas we are excited to welcome Canadian-Serbian artist Dana Gavanksi, Melbourne’s goth-pop trio HighSchool, American noise-rock brothers Tonstartssbandht, dream-pop from the US in Sqip and multi-instrumentalist TUMMYACHE. This year will see the festival move into newly selected spaces for their takeover, including the newly renovated Hackney Church, Hackney Round Chapel, Oslo, Paper Dress Vintage, Chats Palace and some outdoor courtyard spaces with craft drinks and other specialist offerings, as usual.

Focusing on accessibility and highly alternative entertainment, VISIONS first tier tickets are priced at an affordable £25.00 and are likely to sell quickly as usual.
