MABEL CONFIRMED TO PERFORM SOMERSET HOUSE SUMMER SERIES WITH AMERICAN EXPRESS

Somerset House Summer Series with American Express are thrilled to announce Mabel will be joining the line-up, closing the open-air live music festival on 17th July 2022.

Mabel has made the perilous jump from box-fresh to bona fide phenomenon strictly on her own terms. From her early promise on the Ivy to Roses mixtape, Mabel has emerged as one of UK pop’s most positive, candid and important voices. An extraordinary career arc has seen her veer from playing intimate shows to stadium touring with Harry Styles, selling out her own dates around the world and memorably taking to the Wembley Stadium stage in a Burberry catsuit and rainbow flag. Crowned Best Female Solo Artist at the BRIT Awards, she recently scored her twelfth top 20 hit in a career that has already surpassed 4.5 billion streams, 8 million singles sold and 2.5 million adjusted album sales for a debut album.

A string of platinum selling dance-floor friendly singles has revealed an artist who can create big melodic hooks but who’s also unafraid to discuss everything from identity to the challenges of modern relationships, battling anxiety to cultural dislocation.

In between lockdowns, Mabel first teased the single Let Them Know, an unapologetic anthem about dressing up with nowhere to go, and projecting confidence for anyone who needs it, while recent single Good Luck distilled influences of House, heartbreak and female solidarity into perfectly realised pop.

With her new album About Last Night set for release on 15 July, just before this special headline show on the 17 July, the closing night of Summer Series will be the perfect setting to celebrate Mabel’s empowering pop perfection.

An unmissable summer experience, Somerset House Summer Series with American Express brings a vibrant festival atmosphere right to the heart of London, offering music fans the rare  opportunity to enjoy world-renowned and emerging acts, across a wide range of diverse and eclectic genres in a spectacular, intimate setting.

Other artists joining the Somerset House Summer Series with American Express line-up
