Proving it’s truly never too early to get into the Christmas spirit, Trace Xmas is set to return on 1st September 2022 and with it, kick off this year’s festivities – even amidst the summer heatwave!
Available on Sky channel 359, it is once again the first dedicated Christmas TV channel to hit our screens this year, returning with an even bigger, flashier and merrier schedule of festive content and music to get you in the mood for Christmas.
Trace will welcome a star-studded array of special guests to take over the station and share their all-time favourite Christmas tracks. This includes superstar singers Megan McKenna, Kerry Katona, Jo O’Meara, Justin Hawkins, Aurora, Mutya Buena, Gareth Gates, Tulisa, and Terry Coldwell – whose band East 17 had a Christmas #1 with “Stay Another Day” – and plenty of other famous faces including Kim Woodburn, Lisa Appleton, Matt Evers, Baga Chipz and Hamish Gaman.
Guests will also get stuck into Christmas-themed games to prove if they’re as merry as Santa, or as bah humbug as Scrooge! As well as sharing their Xmas Tips in a brand new segment for 2022 ‘Shake Your Tips it’s Christmas’
Of course, Trace is all about the music, and their 24/7 playlist has every music fan covered. Think it’s not Christmas until you hear the voice of Mariah? Want to listen to the iconic hits from Wham!, Chris Rea and Slade? Or is it all about the newest and brightest tracks from recent years? Trace has it all, with over 150 music videos from across the decades and even an A-Z Elfabet hosted by the man himself.
So, say goodbye to the summer sun and forget about Halloween, it’s time to dust off the decorations and get into the festive spirit!
Trace Xmas is available on Sky channel 359 from 1st September 2022 @ 6am, with the first celebrity takeover at 11am being the All Star Xmas Takeover – featuring TJ Jackson, Tia Kofi, Amelle Berrabah, Kieron Richardson and loads more.
