Yoga Stops Traffick

Expect a vibrant taste of India as Yoga Stops Traffick brings its flagship Mysore YST event to the OM
Yoga Show! Each year young survivors of human trafficking lead 108 sun salutations outside the gates
of the iconic Mysore Palace in South India, to mark Yoga Stops Traffick and to call for an end to human
trafficking.

In the workshop on Sunday 16th October, participants will roll out mats to complete a series of led sun
salutations together in solidarity with the young survivors in India. Through this dynamic practice, we will
breathe and move together, sending home and light with each salutation of the sun to those who need it
most.

Siobhan McCarthy-Morton, CEO at Adventure Ashram, will also be speaking about this powerful
campaign and how people can get involved by donating or supporting through their own yoga sessions.
Yoga Stops Traffick is a global campaign to raise awareness and funds for survivors of human
trafficking in India. The money raised supports its Indian grassroots partner, Odanadi, to rescue and
rehabilitate survivors of human trafficking, sexual exploitation, slavery, domestic abuse and child
marriage.

Ashtanga Yoga is of huge significance to the young people of Odanadi. As part of their rehabilitation
program, it has allowed them to reclaim their bodies; build physical and mental strength, and restore a
sense of peace, confidence and self-worth.
