Non-Stop Review

nonstopLiam Neeson is back for more trashy thriller action – this time he’s air marshall Bill Marks (fond of the drink it seems, and a little despondent in life) who when aboard his latest flight begins to receive threatening messages on his work phone from one of the passengers. The deal is simple. If he doesn’t get the culprit a large sum of money in a specific time: people will die.

Marks sets about playing a game of onboard “Guess Who” using a variety of tactics. Among the suspects are the likes of character actors Julianne Moore, Scoot McNairy, Corey Stoll and Anson Mount – each potentially with something to hide.

Neeson has teamed up with his Unknown director Jaume Collet-Serra for this bit of fun, and fun it is if you like your thrillers to be on a clock, littered with guilty looking faces with a stressed out hero at the centre of it all.

Non-stop may be very silly, but it is worth checking your baggage before you board and then you’re in for 100 minutes of fun.
