CITADEL 2018 ANNOUNCES FUTHER ARTISTS AND LIFESTYLE OFFERINGS

Having previously announced their UK Exclusive headliners Tame Impala, and a first wave of artists including CHVRCHES, Leon Bridges, Fat White Family, GOAT and more, Citadel are now delighted to share the line-ups of three more stages.

Kopparberg return to Citadel with their new Kopparberg Outsider stage, presented by pioneering print and online music platform DIY. Psychedelic five-piece Pumarosa lead the billing which also features fast-rising singer-songwriter Kamio, indie newcomer Ten Tonnes, dreamy rockers Plastic Mermaids, hotly-tipped South Londoner Matt Maltese and the genre-blending LUCIA.

There’s also appearances from jangle-pop duo Her’s, enigmatic Manchester group W.H. Lung, plus DJ sets from Acid Box. It’s a line-up that showcases the very best in creative and imaginative live music.

Elsewhere, Smirnoff’s line-up is a refreshingly diverse line-up of pioneering DJs. Their Equalising Music campaign has focused on increasing the number of female DJs on lineups.

Heading up proceedings is a DJ set from Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard. There’s experimental producer/DJ Nabihah Iqbal (FKA Throwing Shade), acclaimed musician and producer Kelly Lee Owens (DJ Set), Fay Milton of influential punk band Savages taking to the decks, ‘first lady of Balearic Beat’ Nancy Noise, afro-cosmic/futuristic duo Earthboogie, NTS favourite LDLDN and disco ravers Hot Blood.

The Corona SunSets stage returns, bringing the smooth beats of the Balaerics to Citadel. Bringing you a sunny selection of jazz, blues and brass will be prolific South London artist Kamaal Williams, the ten-piece drum and brass powerhouse that is Old Dirty Brasstards, plus the award-winning Errol Linton’s Blues Band, and Blue Lab Beats, the young production duo leading London’s jazz revival. There’s also Sally Rodgers of cult electronic duo A Man Called Adam, Mr Shiver and Vilma Rae.

That’s not all. Some of the best names on the thriving UK street food scene will be serving up their specialities and catering to all dietary requirements. Dig into delights from Le Bab, Cheeky Burger, Buddha Bowls, Yorkshire Burrito, Anna Mae’s, Popdogs, Crabbieshack and Tiger Bites.

Wash it all down with some delicious drinks. Make sure you head down to the renowned Smirnoff House where you can try the new Smirnoff Soda Fruit Smash serve and soak up those summer vibes.

Plus, The Rioja Wine Terrace will be returning to bring a diverse array of red, white, and rosé wines, authentic Spanish tapas and exclusive Rioja wine tastings to this year’s festival.

You can also indulge in bubbles on tap from our very own prosecco stand.

With even more to be added to the Citadel galaxy, it’s set to be the standout Sunday of the summer.
