Sussex alt-rock trio In Dynamics have announced a short run of UK headline tour dates for June/July 2016 with support from Huw Eddy & The Carnival, Good Friend and Imbium.
The news comes alongside the revelation on another brand new track ‘Existence Precedes Essence’, taken from their forthcoming debut album Everything I See, which is released on 18th July 2016 – fans can download the track for free now from MusicGlue.
“‘Existence Precedes Essence’ is about accepting and freeing yourself from what you cannot control,” they explain of the song. “Too often we let what is out of our power affect us and the things we love the most; so this track is really a call to letting go of circumstance and just enjoying yourself.
“In the end, we can’t control everything, and sometimes we need to learn to accept that. It’s one of the poppiest songs on the record, and demonstrates the live, energetic side of the band well.“Our debut album ‘Everything I See’ was written by just the three of us in a room together, and we think this song reflects that.”
This time round it’s a bouncing, more upbeat offering from the band with another enormous chorus, showing a further dimension to their songwriting that strays into territory more usually cornered by the likes of Don Broco and Lower Than Atlantis, but still retains their instrumentally inclined technicality and lyrical pathos.
Debut album ‘Everything I See’ is released 18th July 2016
