In just three short years, future-rap outfit MOK have carved out a unique path for themselves – ‘Call Carlton’ is the opening track from their forthcoming new record ‘The House’ which you can check out below.
A highly emotive, multi-layered and energetic single that’s both stuffed full of groove whilst skittering along on a wave of contemporary sounding, minimalist beats which truly highlight the band’s uniqueness and originality.
”Call Carlton sheds light on the darkest parts of living a life of excess” say the band about the track.
Combining painstaking production with an effortless stage presence, MOK’s full band set-up makes their live shows energetic and immersive, while their heavy use of loops and drum-triggered samples means the “rock band” tag doesn’t fit comfortably either.
Forget what you think you know about hip hop – MOK defy all expectation.
