Track of the Day: Asylums – Necessary Appliances

Did anybody order a stone cold banger for lunch? Because we’ve got a big one to serve up here from Asylums, who release new single ‘Necessary Appliances’ on 29th April via Cool Things Records.

A gnarly, full throttle slab of indie rock, the likes of which those of us who hanker for the glory days of Ash and Weezer can usually only dream of – whilst wishing we could still fit into those corduroy flares we loved so much – it’s further proof that we’ve got a serious band on our hands here.

Perfectly capturing the spirit of their forthcoming album “Killer Brain Waves”, we quite simply cant wait for another shot in the arm from this lot.
