Alright then, Black Peaks just buried pretty much every other new rock band in the UK with this new one.
If you’re a fan of the likes of Coheed & Cambria, Refused, Queens of The Stone Age and more progressive heavy music like Dillinger, The Locust and Converge then the shuddering, twisted riffs of the latest track to be revealed by the band should light a fire in your loins that you’ll struggle to extinguish.
Take a listen to the explosive brand new album track ‘Set In Stone’ below, taken from their debut album ‘Statues’, which is set for release on April 8th through Easy life / Sony RED.
“We are very proud to reveal ‘Set In Stone’ from our upcoming album ‘STATUES’. One of our favourites from the album, we hope you love it as much as we do. The song is about seizing every moment life has to offer before they slip away into silence and become mere memories. ‘Set in Stone’ is a definite darker side of us and hopefully shows off the diverse sounds that Statues’ has to offer. It’s one of our proudest achievements as a band, it evolved from a good song to something brilliant when we recorded it! We hope you like it as much as we do!”
The band have also announced the supports on their March/April headline dates, which follow on from their Feb headline dates (featuring support from The Physics House Band) as Palm Reader and Toska (feat ex members of Dorje).
