Liverpool Music Week 2015 Announces Godspeed, Best Coast, Deerhunter, Gang Of Four & More
Liverpool Music Week have announced the first artists of another cutting edge line up for their 11th edition of the festival, taking place across the city from the 22nd to 31st October 2015.
10 days of mouth watering shows will include a first ever Liverpool live show for GODSPEED YOU! BLACK EMPEROR (October 27th), appearances from DEERHUNTER, GANG OF FOUR and SOAK at the multi-venue ‘Closing Party’ on 31st October, as well as a week long program of shows that will include BEST COAST, JOSH T PEARSON, HEALTH and HOLLY HERNDON plus many more.
This year will be see over 50 events, across key city venues play host to over 250 live acts. Centring around the city’s two main art & music venues, Camp & Furnace and The Kazimier. Unique venues that have received national attention for their own significant contributions to Liverpool’s culture scene.
Liverpool Music Week’s founding-director, Mike Deane, who is also a European agent at boutique talent agency Elastic Artists said :
“Following an incredible 10th Edition of the festival last year, we are thrilled to announce our first headliner for 2015 as Godspeed You! Black Emperor – an act we have been trying to get to the festival for years and now we can finally proudly announce will play their first ever Liverpool show at this years LMW. Furnace was an exceptional space for our headline shows Mogwai, Caribou, Chrvrches and will be the perfect venue for Godspeed’s first visit to the city”
Liverpool Music Week 2015 will begin on the Thursday, 22 October leading up to the festival’s famous “Closing Party” on 31 October that will be announced late July.
