We adore when bands make us feel incredibly violent via punching air and headbutting empty spaces, that’s why we have to award track of the day Lesser Animal an unsigned five piece tearing up (in a good way) the local hardcore community of Birmingham. The freshly released three song EP brought chaos, disorder and almost an aggravated assault charge particularly with the title track of the EP “The World Enslaved“.
The World Enslaved blew us away with it’s pivotal introduction which threw us from naught to a hundred from the first second with heart stomping blast beats and guitars grinding harder than ‘Gears Of War‘ chainsaw battle. But what particularly stood out is the monstrous vocals, demonic enough to even rival ‘Lamb Of God’s‘ Randy Blythe.
Amazing EP lads, hope to hear more face punching tracks from you soon!
Or better yet why not catch them live on the 6th August at The Unicorn, Camden, London
