Oceansize’s Mike Vennart Goes Solo With ‘Retaliate’
Ex-Oceansize frontman and current Biffy Clyro touring guitarist Mike Vennart is set to release his debut solo album titled ‘The Demon Joke’ on the 22nd June 2015. With the album just two weeks away from release, he has now revealed another brand new track in the shape of ‘Retaliate’ which you can check out below.
Commenting on the track, Vennart says; “Retaliate is a big, dumb stomper rock tune. I wrote it for just bass and drums, then I asked Gambler to play the really perverted keyboard lines, then flung on the ridiculous and impossible guitar solo at the end. That solo is a real career highlight for me.”
