The Bastard Sons Announce Debut Album ‘Smoke’

Following a packed out performance at last weekend’s Camden Rocks Festival, York-based heavy rock’n’roll quintet The Bastard Sons have announced they will be releasing their debut album ‘Smoke’ on 7th August 2015 via Kaiju Records.

To celebrate, they’re sharing the lyric video for ‘A Lie Is A Lie’ – the first new track to be taken from the record – which you can watch below.

“This song is about not accepting truths just because you heard them on the news or read them in a paper,” explains front man JJ Jackson “standing up for what you believe and, if needs be, kicking the man in the teeth and saying I won’t take your bullshit anymore.”

UK Live Dates (more TBC):

26/6 – The Cask, Scarborough
27/6 – Santiago’s, Leeds
14/8 – The Angel, Durham
15/8 – Fibbers, York
