The Rolling Stones Unveil Unheard ‘Brown Sugar’ ft Eric Clapton
Here’s a little treat for retro music nerds – The Rolling Stones huge hit single ‘Brown Sugar’ unveiled to the world as its never been heard before, featuring Eric Clapton.
The brand new version of ‘Brown Sugar’ will appear on the Deluxe Reissue of the seminal Sticky Fingers on a variety of formats on 8 June 2015.
The alternative version of ‘Brown Sugar’, lifted from the original studio sessions, features none other than Eric Clapton on slide guitar. Clapton attended a birthday party for Keith Richards, held at Olympic Studios in London, on 18 December 1970 and laid down the track on guitar during an impromptu performance with the band; which until now has never been officially released.
