Industry onlookers suggested that Jalapeno Records had made a rash decision with latest label signing The Allergies but after seeing them scratching on their latest mix everyone at the label has been itching to prove them wrong.

Seriously now… Bristolian duo DJ Moneyshot & Rackabeat are on a mission to take vintage sounds and reshape them for the modern dance floor; live their DJ sets mash up their funk influences with hard-earned hip-hop skills.

While Moneyshot is no stranger to Jalapeno, the release of slo-mo disco-funker Be With You was the first time the duo have appeared on the label. It was one of the standout tunes from recent label compilation Jalapeno Funk Vol. 6 and hopefully heralds a new Allergies-rich era.
