Track of the Day: Fizzy Blood – January Sun
Leeds bunch FIZZY BLOOD have announced their long-awaited return with a clutch of new songs this year with the news that debut EP ‘FEAST’ will be released on 22nd June 2015.
We first picked up on them in 2014 when they were invited to play Download Festival and subsequently personally invited to tour with legendary punk outfit The Dead Kennedys, before the band retreated back to their hometown of Leeds late last year to reflect on how best to capitalize on their stellar start.
They return triumphant in 2015 as both a better band and a bigger unit, with a fantastically weird video for their huge debut single ‘January Sun’ – who doesn’t like to see a bunch of lads smearing themselves in goo and screaming? Eh?
You can catch the band live on a run of headline UK tour dates in May and June with an appearance at Liverpool Sound City Festival.
