Premiere: KrakKrak – Grave Dohl
We introduced them (here) back in January and today we’re very pleased to be premiering ‘Grave Dohl’ – the insane, abrasive and visceral new track from KrakKrak.
If you can imagine Horse The Band spliced with Atari Teenage Riot played through a sound system that’s permanently peaking on red-light and that’s something that actually appeals to you, this maniacal fingertapped riff might be right up your street.
The racing, thrashy drums and distortion-heavy production are reminiscent of the more raucous side of Japanese experimentalists Mad Capsule Markets, whose sad demise in 2006 leaves plenty of room for sonic anarchists like KrakKrak to bust through a few boundaries.
Grave Dohl will be released on the 18th May through Sonic Anhedonic Recording Company as a digital download.
