Fresh Chops: Brandon Flowers
Brandon Flowers is back, this time without the rest of his band mates from The Killers, with new single “Can’t Deny My Love”, the first glimpse of his new album, The Desired Effect.
The good news is that it’s a triumphant return to form for the songwriter and an absolute corker of a track.
The stunning video for the single features Evan Rachel Wood and The Psychedelic Furs’ Richard Butler alongside Flowers in an adaptation of Young Goodman Brown, a short story by the19th century American writer Nathaniel Hawthorne. It was directed by Roboshobo and filmed in a desert ghost town.
Tickets for Brandon Flowers’ upcoming UK tour went on sale last Friday and a second Brixton date has been added due to popular demand.
The new album is released 18th May.
