Track of the Day: Hop Along – Powerful Man

With their forthcoming second album set for release on May 4th via Saddle Creek, Philadelphia’s Hop Along share another glimpse of their enigmatic indie pop meets growling guitar grunge with new single ‘Powerful Man’.

The band offered a preview of the record with their first single ‘Waitress’ earlier this month and today they share new album track ‘Powerful Man’. Frances’ raw vocals play over swelling guitars that drive the song into an instantly catchy, melodic frenzy that keeps listeners hooked.

Revered for their electrifying live show, Hop Along will kick off a national US tour with The War on Drugs this month. UK dates to be announced soon.
