Once again, The Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds festivals will take place at two great, easily accessible sites on Reading's Richfield Avenue and in Leeds' beautiful Bramham Park on the August Bank Holiday Weekend (Friday 26th to Sunday 28th August 2005) with 162,500 people attending across both sites.
An outstanding line-up includes international heavyweight names such as The Foo Fighters, The Pixies, Iron Maiden, The Killers, Kings of Leon, Marilyn Manson, and The Charlatans, while the pick of the new generation of UK guitar bands including Razorlight, Kasabian, Bloc Party, and Art Brut, will also be performing.
