Dodgy are back! At least that was the hope around October time last year when news of the comeback spread joy across the land. However, November spawned a monster of a blow to all who eagerly awaited their return. It was a blow that guitarist Andy Miller felt more than most when he fell out of bed and chipped a bone in his forearm, delaying the much anticipated Dodgy march just a little more!

Drummer Mathew Priest (MP) who I spoke to last year (link) took some more time out to answer a few random and perhaps less relevant questions for you lucky Dodgy fans.

AS: When you take aim with your peashooter/pellet gun/sniper rifle, you’re aiming at?
MP: Kerry Katona, Jordan, Victoria Beckham, Ashley Cole and in fact, most footballers.

AS: Where do you go when it all gets too much?
MP: Home to Wiltshire.

AS: Is bedtime more half nine with a half read paper or more half four with fully red eyes?
MP: I still manage to successfully mix the both.

AS: What do you do in your recreational time?
MP: I don’t really have any.

AS: Who would be your dream collaborator?
MP: Leona Lewis.

AS: What’s the last gig/concert you went to?
MP: Misty’s Big Adventure in London.

AS: What’s the best music video?
MP: Atlas – Battles

AS: If you were a musical instrument what would you be?
MP: Trombone.

MP: I fall in love every week.

MP: Small achievements.

MP: Mathew – My dad. Dodgy – magic mushrooms.

MP: Oh, we’ve all done all that!

MP: It’s not half full or half empty, it’s your round.

MP: Not giving a fuck if I am.

MP: August.

MP: My brother.
