Watch: Songhoy Blues – Soubour (live session)

Mali blues heroes Songhoy Blues have announced details of the release of a new single, ‘Soubour’, which will be released on Transgressive Records on Monday May 11th 2015.

The band, who recently completed a run of ecstatically received shows at this year’s SxSW Festival in Austin, Texas are currently on their first US tour supporting Alabama Shakes.

They’ve also announced details of their biggest London show to date at Koko in November and a UK headline tour in October. These dates follows a sold out show at Oslo in Hackney in February and an already sold out show at Village Underground in May.
