Tickets for Taylor Swift’s upcoming UK tour dates are currently subject to 50% more demand than her ex’s band One Direction, according to ticket marketplace Seatwave.
These stats may come as a surprise as One Direction were the UK’s fastest ticket sellers this year, however it seems that the 23-year-old is outselling the five strong British boy band.
With Taylor hitting the UK next year and alleged romances with Styles and fellow Brit singer Ed Sheeran – the demand is not just coming from Swift’s strong female fan base but also a growing male fan base potentially hoping to get Taylor’s attention while she is in London.
Louise Mullock, spokesperson for Seatwave, said: “It seems that Taylor may be having the last laugh, with Styles and co. failing to match her demand-wise.
“Who knows, one lucky fan might even score a date with the pop siren when she visits these shores for her UK shows.”
