Cloud Control today announce a UK and European tour to mark the forthcoming release of their second album Dream Cave, due out in the UK on 16 September via Infectious Music (9 August in Australia through Ivy League, and 17 September in the US via Votiv).
Originally hailing from Australia’s Blue Mountains, but now residing in the UK, Cloud Control – Alister Wright, Heidi Lenffer, Ulrich Lenffer and Jeremy Kelshaw – are applying last minute magic to the follow up to 2010’s Bliss Release (released in the UK in May 2011 to critical acclaim, including 4* reviews in Q, The Times and The Guardian). The album won the Australian Music Prize, the antipodean equivalent of the Mercury Prize, and the band spent countless hours in the backs of vans and tour buses notching up over four hundred gigs across the globe including support slots with Vampire Weekend, Weezer and Arcade Fire.
